Quotes and scheduling
Quotes are based on what we are told and what we can see, and may be adjusted if the array turns out to be larger, higher, or far more heavily soiled than described. We will always talk to you before changing a price, never after.
Access and safety
We need clear, safe access to set up on the ground beside the array. If conditions on the day make the work unsafe — high wind, ice, storms, unstable footing, or a roof or mount we judge to be in poor condition — we will stop and reschedule rather than press on.
Scope of our work
We clean and maintain solar arrays. We are not a solar installer and not an electrician. We do not install, repair, or modify panels, inverters, wiring, or mounting hardware. Where we notice damage we will tell you and photograph it so you can take it to your installer or warranty provider.
Payment
Payment is due once the work is complete unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only — to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, interfere with its operation, scrape or copy it by automated means, or use it in any way that could harm Top Solar Energy LLC or anyone else.
Unless stated otherwise, the content on this site — text, graphics, logos, photographs, and layout — belongs to Top Solar Energy LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or redistribute our content without our written permission.
We work to keep this site accurate and current but do not represent that it is complete or error-free, and it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Top Solar Energy LLC operates a text messaging program so customers and prospective customers can reach us and receive service updates. These SMS terms form part of these Terms & Conditions.
- Program description and message types. Messages relate to the service you asked us about: replies to your questions, quotes and estimates, appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival and job-status updates, invoices and receipts, and follow-up about work we have completed for you. We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text campaigns.
- How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages by giving us your mobile number and asking us to contact you — for example by submitting a request form on this website, by ticking a text-message consent box where one is provided, or by texting us first at (224) 381-0384. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us and on any active or upcoming job.
- Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Top Solar Energy LLC is not responsible for charges from your carrier.
- How to opt out. Text STOP to (224) 381-0384 at any time to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further texts to that number. You can opt back in at any time by texting us again.
- How to get help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at (224) 381-0384 or topsolarenergyil@gmail.com. Full support details are at the end of these Terms.
- Carrier liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on effective transmission by your mobile carrier.
- Supported carriers. Our program is supported by major mobile carriers in the United States. Carriers are not responsible for the content of messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
The mobile information you share with us, and your text messaging consent, are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Top Solar Energy LLC collects, how we use and protect it, how our text messaging consent works, and the choices and rights you have. It forms part of these Terms, and by using this website or our services you agree to it. Where these Terms and the Privacy Policy overlap on how we handle personal information, the Privacy Policy applies.
Governing Law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them, this website, or the services we provide, are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
